June 2006 I met a dear friend. He taught me patience, he taught me real estate buy and sell contracts. He taught me to care about people that much more than I already did. He lit up the room, showed me the ropes and how to lighten up occasionally. We shared a great lunch at Black Angus, best steak I've ever had, he was curious about how my family progressed no matter where I was living.
He always cared about my situation and although everyone has situations he made mine seem just a little more important than what was going on in the real world, just let let me feel like there was someone on my side. He remained close no matter how far so that he may answer all my questions if one ever arose. If he didn't know the answer he would research it just to become that much more of an educator. He was there when I sold my first home. He was a beautiful human being and I will always remember him until the day takes me.
To Bill Showen, "Showen Homes"
your saying; "my office is your kitchen table" will always and forever stick with me.
Thank you for being a superior friend, businessman, accomplished Attorney, educator and simply an inspiration to each person that intercepted your laugh. My heart is with you and your family. You are dearly missed since 11/24/12.
I will remember to give away cruises with each home I sell :) In remembrance of you.
